The accessories of dry-type transformers include oil tanks, oil pillows, tap changers, gas pipes, insulation sleeves, etc. Their function is to ensure the stable operation of the transformer. So, what are the accessories of dry-type transformers?

(1) Oil tank: refers to the casing of a dry-type transformer, which is used for heat dissipation and protection of the device body (the transformer body is placed in the oil tank). The tank contains transformer oil for the insulation layer.

(2) Oil storage tank (oil pillow): installed on the oil tank to block the internal structure of the tank from the outside.

(3) Gas pipe (explosion-proof pipe): installed on the oil tank cover to maintain the machine equipment and avoid damaging the oil tank in case of common faults. When there is a problem with the transformer causing a lot of steam, the gas pressure in the oil tank increases, and the steam and oil will break the glass explosion-proof film and spray outwards to prevent the oil tank from cracking.

(4) Pneumatic solenoid valve: installed in the pipeline between the oil tank and oil storage tank of the transformer, it is a key protective equipment. The internal structure includes a floating bucket containing a mercury switch and a partition that can push the mercury switch. When a common fault occurs in the transformer, the resulting vapor will be extracted at the upper end of the gas solenoid valve, the oil level will decrease, the float bucket will move downwards, and a signal will be sent when the mercury switch is connected; When the transformer experiences common faults that are not optimistic, such as the oil drain breaking the partition and the baffle shifting, it pushes a set of tissues to connect another mercury switch, sends a signal, and cuts off the power.

(5) Tap power switch: In the power supply system, in order to better control the output voltage of the transformer within the agreed range of transformation, the number of turns of the primary winding coil of the transformer is regulated to be adjusted within a certain area. Therefore, the primary winding is generally equipped with a tap, which is called a tap connector. By connecting the power switch with different connectors, the number of turns of the original winding can be changed to achieve the purpose of adjusting the working voltage.

(6) Insulation sleeve: installed on the oil tank of the transformer, its function is to lead the end of the electromagnetic coil wire out of the oil tank and insulate the wire from the oil tank. For working voltages below 1KV, ceramic insulation sleeves are selected. For working voltages between 10-35KV, gas filled or oil filled waterproof sleeves are selected. For working voltages above 110KV, capacitive sensor waterproof sleeves are selected.

(7) Transformer oil: high material compressive strength and low viscosity, high ignition point and low solidification point, free of alkali, alkali, dust, moisture and other residues. Effect: Strengthen the insulation layer and heat dissipation.

(8) Temperature measurement equipment: detects the oil level and ambient temperature of the transformer. Mercury thermometers are used for small and medium-sized dry-type transformers, while pressure thermometers are used for larger transformers.
