Wiring Method of Dry-type Transformer

Wiring method for dry-type transformers:

1. Use a megohmmeter to test the insulation resistance between the “input” and “output” terminals of the short-circuit transformer and the ground wire. When measuring with a 1000V megohmmeter, the resistance is greater than 2M ohms.

2. The cross-sectional wiring of the input and output power lines of the transformer should meet the requirements of its current value, and should be configured according to a current density of 2-2.5A/min2.

3. The input and output three-phase power lines should be connected to phase A, phase B, and phase C according to the color of the transformer terminal block busbar yellow, green, and red, respectively. The neutral line should be connected to the neutral neutral line of the transformer transformer, and the grounding wire, transformer housing, and transformer point should be connected. The ground and neutral wires we usually refer to are led out from the neutral point of the transformer. Check the input and output wires to confirm their correctness.

4. First, turn on the power without load and observe that the input and output voltages meet the requirements. At the same time, observe whether the machine has abnormal noises, sparks, odors, and other abnormal phenomena. If there are any abnormalities, please disconnect the input power supply.

5. The load can only be connected after the no-load test is completed and normal.
