To ensure the safety and enhance the efficiency of dry-type transformers, it is necessary to continuously maintain their safety performance. Maintenance of dry-type transformers is beneficial for continuously improving their safety and performance. Dry-type transformer manufacturers maintain their transformers, and the maintenance of dry-type transformers requires a certain amount of time. So, how long is this period? The maintenance cycle for dry-type transformers is generally 5 years. Maintenance items include:
(1) Maintenance of casing and oil.
① Check the covers, tanks, high and low voltage insulating sleeves, safe air passages, radiators, and other covers, clean them, and eliminate any leaks.
② Filter or replace the oil based on the quality of the oil in the dry-type transformer.
③ Inspect and repair the grounding device.
④ If necessary, repaint the shell.
(2) Maintenance of iron core and winding.
① Check the grounding condition of the iron core and the insulation condition of the through screws, and inspect and clean the windings, winding clamping devices, conductors, etc.
Check whether the winding insulation is in good condition and whether the gasket is secure. The coil should be free from looseness, deformation, and displacement, and the primary winding and secondary winding should be asymmetric.
(3) Maintenance of the tapping switch.
① Including the maintenance of connection switches, additional equipment, dynamic and static contacts, as well as their transmission mechanisms.
② Inspect and repair control devices that include load-shedding switches, such as motors, transmission mechanisms, and their operating circuits.
